Forum: sabucat_trailers Subject: terms of use

I don't see any "terms of use" pages for these wonder movie trailers. I read on Sabucat's web page that most of the trailers are public domain, but are these downlaods public domain? Can they be used in a for profit production? My mind is reeling with posibilities, so I must rein it in if these are commercial no-no's. Thanks for any forthcoming info in advance.

I was about to post the exact same thing. Are they PD or CC licensed? Or can we just watch them and that's all?

Here's what I was looking for from the sabucat page. Answer is that before 1962, movie trailers had a seprate copyright, released before the film. Those have expired by now, but only for films before 1962
